Analysis of changes in the border security environment of neighboring countries

: In this research article, the author aims to examine and synthesize recent developments in foreign defense policies, evolving security environments, and emerging strategic trends, as well as the legal framework underpinning Mongolia’s border security, the factors influencing it, and the transformations currently underway. Furthermore, the study seeks to analyze and comprehensively assess the recent changes in the border security environments of Mongolia’s neighboring countries—namely the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China—in light of evolving geopolitical dynamics at both international and regional levels, as well as shifts in military-political conditions and broader political and economic factors.
