Research on the possibility of increasing the middle class of Mongolia
Political instability in a country creates conditions that can lead to economic and governance crises, and ultimately deepen into a broader social crisis.
Therefore, strengthening and expanding the middle class—which plays a crucial role in ensuring political and economic stability—is of vital importance. The middle class is not only the driving force of any nation's economy, but also the largest interest group influencing political and social life.
Compared to other segments of the population, the middle class is generally more highly educated, possesses strong professional skills, and constitutes the majority of active participants in both economic and social activities. Therefore, politicians and those in power tend to develop and implement policies, strategies, and programs that are aligned with the interests and needs of the middle class.
